Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

"Heh, you really are as big as you are dumb, you reptile." He closes his eyes and smirks under his mouth covering. "If you touch me, she is lost forever and if you don't do anything I may Change my mind about letting you know she's still sane. She isn't your daughter. She came from that girl and belongs to that girl. I'd hate to see my mother look as ugly as you."

Wolf 04-09-2004 03:03 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

The dragon hisses, torn between shredding Sadik into ribbions and believing him. "Do not hurt my daughter. She has done nothing. You speak of innocence. Roselenna is innocent, unlike yourself or that demon."

Riki stands up and walks over to Sadik. "What child?"

Spider~One 04-09-2004 03:09 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

"Looks like you have a little girl, demon. Her name is Rose and she is a beautiful little bushel of insanity at the moment. You're married to my little 'brother' and are a very poor housewife whos life is nothing now because you let a pile of scales take over your life. Congrats." He looks to Rikali and stands up and looks up at her in her eyes coldly, moving his fingers slightly and popping his knuckles without touching them. "You know what? I think I'm about to finish up that job I got those many years ago."

Wolf 04-09-2004 03:13 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

Riki stares at Sadik, confused. Her gaze shifts to the dragon and hardens. "You!" The girl clearly recognizes the dragon. "You tricked me, you stupid beast! And...and...I think you possessed me! I'm going to kill you, dragon!"

Rikali snarls and backs up a step. "Go crawl under a rock, the two of you."

Spider~One 04-09-2004 03:17 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

"Been there too long, and I'm hungry." With that he hops over the dragon and jumps on her neck, begining to stab with his katars.

Wolf 04-09-2004 03:20 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

Rikali shrieks in pain and anger, rising up on her two hindlegs and back-peddling into the nearest wall, hoping to pin and crush Sadik beneath her.

Riki's hand flies towards her wrist, cursing when she realizes her weapon is gone. "What did you do with Bliss, you damnable beast?" Looking around, she sees Vengeance laying on the sofa. She grabs it and charges at the dragon. Still attempting to crush Sadik, Rikali bats at Riki with a clawed hand. The girl is knocked back. Her head cracks against the table, and she sits there dazed.

Spider~One 04-09-2004 03:23 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

Sadik laughs and his eyes go pale blue and he lifts the katars up and they fire into her shoulders. He begins pulling them, attemting to pull off her arms.

Wolf 04-09-2004 03:25 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

The dragon shrieks again, her tail whipping around to strike Sadik. She turns her head and exhales a mouthful of lightning down at him. It bounces harmlessly off her scales.

Riki regains her feet and starts chopping at Rikali with the sword, attempting to cut through the scales to find the vunerable flesh underneath.

Spider~One 04-09-2004 03:28 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

the katars retract and a black void opens underneath Sadik and he falls into it and it closes just as another one opens above the dragon. He falls onto her back one more and begins stabbing under her chin furiously.

Janus 04-09-2004 03:39 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

Hayate grabs his sword from another rafter, and draws it from the scabbard. The temperature in the room noticeably drops as he rolls off the rafter. As he drops, he positions himself behind Riki as she stabs at the dragon

I'd rather not have to hurt you. Please don't make me.

Gale 04-09-2004 04:19 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

Legion lets out a loud laugh. "Oh isn't this wondeful! I love it!"

Wolf 04-10-2004 09:02 AM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

Rikali reaches up and slashes at Sadik with her claws, exhaling another blast of lightning. The thick scales covering her are saving her life as they shoulder the brunt of of Sadik's attacks.

Riki turns to face Hayate, Vengeance slicing through the air at his leg.
"Back off! She's mine!"

Spider~One 04-10-2004 10:53 AM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

Sadik grows annoyed as he jumps off the dragon. He takes the cloth covering his mouth off, his lower cheek bones, jaw, and everything else it was covering are still black and decayed with white teeth showing through the torn flesh. He hisses and lunges at her neck, katars first. Attempting to open up the scales with his blades.

Janus 04-10-2004 01:21 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

Hayate quickly jumps backwards to evade the blow and shrugs

As you will.

He raises his free hand and a bolt of purple-white lighting slams into Riki, bringing with it burnage and the like.

Having fun yet?

((No, he's not the Emperor. Yet...))

Gale 04-10-2004 01:23 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

Legion perks up. This Hayate fellow was an intresting character, he'd make a note to investigate him further at a later time, but now he was watching 3 odd people tear themselves apart, and that's all that mattered.

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

The treeline near the Cafe was rarely anything to look at, and the forest had long been deemed too dangerous to delve into without explicit business there. It was for this very reason that he had chosen this position, still dangerously close to the sunlight on the other side of the underbrush that skirted the meadow. His camoflauge fatigues would take care of any eyes wandering into the forest. After a quick glance across the clearing, he brought his bulky scope up on its bipod, poking it past the brush, and peered into the sight. The device was a foot-long gunmetal tube, easily five inches wide, with a lens taking up one end and a small viewfinder protruding from the other. Several lenses inside the cylinder hummed as they focused automatically, and the Cafe materialized in the viewfinder. With a few adjustments, he looked straight into one of the windows and the crosshairs found themselves on a familiar archdemon. That's what he was looking for.

He keyed a small mic on his collar. "He's there." That's all there was to it for him. He'd pull back into the forest now, and wait.

Gale 04-10-2004 09:39 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

Legion eyes the window for no particular reason, a feeling of slight paranoia creeped into his brain, but he soon shook it off. He was an Archdemon. He had no reason to fear anyone. With the possible excepton of once scientist who he assumed almost EVERYONE feared.

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

Far deeper in the forest, in a small nondescript clearing, a cloud of dust began to rise. Below the treetops, the scraggly patch of grass that had somehow fought through the stranglehold of tree roots began to split unnaturally along a line at least thirty feet long. The weathered steel of the sliding doors became visible as the grass and soil along its edges shook off, and a dark tunnel reveals itself below. Before the doors even extend fully, the hum of a jet engine drowns out the sounds of the forest. A dark gray craft rises from the opening, four stubby wings extending from the tail and midsection, each housing two freely rotating thrusters, and two sharp dorsal tails extend up from the end of the tail. The cockpit window is polarized to a solid black and a chaingun hangs under the short chin of the aircraft. Each of the aft wings carry a cluster of missiles along the fueselage.

After clearing the trees, the dropship takes off on a northbound course, flying some two-hundred miles per hour a mere ten feet above the forest canopy.

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

Rikali is taken back from the sight of Sadik's face. The katars part the scales and sink deep into the flesh underneath. Rikali screams and slashes at Sadik with her massive hands, trying to knock him away.

Riki, amazingly, seems unharmed by the attack. Her clothes are in shreds and her body is burned, but she regains her feet without much trouble. Leaping at Hayate, she swipes Vengeance from downlow and up along his stomach.

Spider~One 04-11-2004 01:17 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

Sadik bites into the exposed flesh of the dragon, angling himself away from her powerful strikes. He digs his katars into her flesh once again and shoots them out while they are inside. He lifts his head up and grins, blood all over his mouth, neck, and chest. "I'm going to kill you slowley, Dragon. But don't worry, that girl you think is your daughter will be taken care of very nicely."

Wolf 04-11-2004 06:01 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

The dragon angles her head so her mouth is facing Sadik as much as possible. She sucks in a lungful of air and exhales what would be a devastating blast of lightning, if the katars had not been so close to her windpipe. She chokes on half of it, the other half rushing out between her wicked teeth. "I'll not let you win, vampire! Die, creature, die!"

Spider~One 04-11-2004 06:12 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

Sadik shrieks and flails back onto teh ground, the katars retracting. He stands up slowely, smirking. "Better clean those wounds up before you bleed to death. I can't stay and babysit you anymore, I have a certain son and daughter to see. Take it easy, fat dragon." With that, he smirks and looks out the window in what should be the direction of the apparent sniper and nods, knowing he can be seen. A black void opens behind him and he walks through it and winks at Rikali deviously before the portal closes and he disappears.

Fury Three 04-11-2004 08:13 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

A low hum gradually creeps into the air in the Cafe, faintly noticeable and far from recognizable.

The dropship continued on its course, screaming along at fifty feet. They'd be there in less than a minute... And be out in even less.

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

Legion yawns loudly, now bored. "That proved to be entertaining."

*FD warps in, followed by a shorek; a nasty creature with spikes on their wrist and ankles. After dodging several swipes, FD backflips, alowing the shorek to get it's claw stuck in the wall. he floats upward and draws out his executioner's staff* INFINITE SILENCE! *a pink, spectral mist flows into the jewel on the staff, then blasts out in a flurry of darkness. the shorek becomes green and falls apart* Ah...nothing like a hard day of spirit banishing. *floats back to the ground* well...what happened here...?

Ayn 04-11-2004 08:32 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

For the time being, it seemed as if Ayn was even more bored. She lazes on the couch, braiding locks of her hair lethargically.

Fierce Deity 04-11-2004 08:41 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

*fd takes out a rubix cube, solves it, and tosses it behind him* boring. *fd brings about world peace, then destroys it* boring...*creates cold fusion, a cure for the common cold, and a magic bullet* man...what a wasted day!!!

Gale 04-11-2004 08:45 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

A knife zips by and nearlys cuts off Ayn's braid. "Whoops."

Fierce Deity 04-11-2004 08:50 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

*it flies past and impales FD's face....but since he is made of energy, he doesn't notice as it closes up* hmm....I felt a slight tickle...must be nothing. *shrugs*

*takes the magic bullet and throws it back*

Gale 04-11-2004 08:53 PM

Legion scrambles out of the bullets path. "That almost hit me!"

Fierce Deity 04-11-2004 08:57 PM

In the words of a certain someone..."whoops"

*the bullet misses and turns back*

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

Ayn ignores everybody, instead unbraiding the braid that was nearly sliced off and running a hand through her hair.

Fierce Deity 04-11-2004 11:29 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

is that all she ever does?

*goes back to doing stuff*

Ayn 04-12-2004 08:58 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

She flops back, her head hanging off the side of the couch. Boredom etches across her face as she pulls out her sword and examines it by holding it a few inches above her.

"I'd think Gaia could afford to be a bit more elegant. You fight with a common sword and in rags. You're still very much an orphan."

Fierce Deity 04-12-2004 09:11 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

*fd looks at his sword of Nataro, encrusted with jewels and gold filligree* yeah...it's true. 8notices he was talking to gaia* oh...her? never mind.

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

"Perhaps I prefer it that way. If I just take any material thing I want, then I'll just be more vulnerable to becoming power-hungry. Isn't that what you're trying to stop me from doing?"

Gale 04-12-2004 09:13 PM

Re: Tri-Link's Cafe V

Legion grins broadly, a gleam in his eyes. "Hah. The truth is, sweetie, you don't know what I want and what I don't, and that is precisly why I play this game."
